Man charged with inserting toddler in dumpster behind enterprise
(LPL/FOX13) – La policía de Memphis arrestó y acusó a un hombre de arrojar a un bebé en un contenedor de basura detrás de un negocio de Whitehaven.
James Sales space, de 45 años, está acusado de abuso de un cadáver. Actualmente se encuentra en la cárcel del condado de Shelby sin derecho a fianza.
Según los investigadores del MPD, los agentes respondieron a una llamada sospechosa poco después de las 9 a.m. del 27 de enero de 2025, en la cuadra 3100 de Teakrock Lane. Les dijeron que una niña se dirigía al hospital cuando dio a luz.

(LPL/FOX13) – Memphis Police have arrested and charged a person with dumping a child in a dumpster behind a Whitehaven enterprise.
James Sales space, 45, is charged with abuse of a corpse. He’s at the moment within the Shelby County Jail with out bond.
In accordance with MPD investigators, officers responded to a suspicious name simply after 9 a.m. on Jan. 27, 2025, within the 3100 block of Teakrock Lane. They have been advised a woman had been on the best way to the hospital when she gave delivery.
Investigators stated the person she was with, recognized as Sales space, took the infant and positioned the kid in a dumpster within the 1300 block of East Shelby Drive, the place officers discovered the kid lifeless. MPD stated the mom was taken to Regional One Hospital in non-critical situation.
Sales space was arrested the following day within the 5400 block of Hudgins.
Police haven’t stated how or precisely when the infant died. They stated the investigation is ongoing.
